Definition
Carrageenan is a gelling agent that is extracted from seaweed and is similar in texture to gelatin. It is commonly used as a food additive and can also be found in shampoos and cosmetics. In our products, it helps thicken and stabilise the ingredients in the product so that they form a stable, gel-like texture.
