BHT
BHT is a stabilizer that can also be found in cosmetics and moisturizers. It acts as an antioxidant – it helps maintain the properties and performance of a product as it is exposed to air. The U.S. FDA and Health Canada have also approved BHT for use in food. Some concerns have been raised over its use as a food additive, however our products containing BHT are not intended for ingestion, so we feel that it's use is acceptable.
