Paraffin is a blend of waxes that is used to form a candle and that provides fuel for the candle as it burns. In cleaning products, Paraffin can be used as a film former to create a protective coating or shine on a surface. Paraffin is one of the most plentiful and commonly used waxes today. It can also be found in a wide array of products from lipsticks to eye makeup to baby products.

Help maintain a product formula over time.
Benzophenone-12 is a stabilizer that can also be found in perfumes and soaps. It is an anti-oxidant that helps maintain the properties and performance of a product as it is exposed to air, light or heat. This ingredient should not be confused with Benzophenone-3 (Oxybenzone), which some reports associate with health concerns. Benzophenone-12 is different. It's a commonly used stabilizer that prevents ultraviolet light from damaging scents and colors.
BHT is a stabilizer that can also be found in cosmetics and moisturizers. It acts as an antioxidant – it helps maintain the properties and performance of a product as it is exposed to air. The U.S. FDA has also approved BHT for use in food. Some concerns have been raised over its use as a food additive, however our products containing BHT are not intended for ingestion, so we feel that its use is acceptable.
Vybar 260 is a stabilizer used primarily in candles. It helps improve the opacity and texture of the candle, as well as helping keep the color consistent throughout the candle and make the fragrance last.

Bekro® 5807-30 is a colorant. Dyes are added to products for a variety of reasons including helping you see where you applied the product, when a product is used up, or for aesthetic reasons. Bekro® 5807-30 is a product of Bekro Chemie GmbH.
