Hydrogenated palm oil is a naturally derived material used for candle wax. It is also commonly found in skin care products, makeup and suntan products. “Hydrogenated” means formulated to include water, so hydrogenated palm oil is a mixture of palm oil and water. We use it in candles to provide fuel for the candle and help it keep its shape.

Paraffin is a blend of waxes that is used to form a candle and that provides fuel for the candle as it burns. Paraffin is one of the most plentiful and commonly used waxes today. It can also be found in a wide array of products from lipsticks to eye makeup to baby products. In household products, we use paraffin as a film former to create a protective coating or shine on a surface.

CS-10 is a proprietary blend of UV stabilisers and antioxidants used to prevent colour loss or discolouration in a product. We use it in our candles as a light (UV) stabiliser that helps prevent fading and maintains the colour of a candle over time. We use a blend to minimise the total amount of stabilisers needed.
