Benzophenone-12
Definition
Benzophenone-12 is a stabiliser that can also be found in perfumes and soaps. This ingredient should not be confused with benzophenone-3 (oxybenzone), which some reports associate with health concerns. Benzophenone-12 is different. It acts as an antioxidant – we use it to help maintain the properties and performance of a product as it is exposed to air, light or heat.
