White mineral oil is a clear liquid carrier that can also be found in a wide variety of cosmetics, personal care and household products. A carrier does just what it sounds like - it helps carry a product to a surface by thinning or thickening the formula or simply ensuring even distribution of the other ingredients in the formula. We use white mineral oil because without a carrier, the product would not work with the same consistency across a surface. White mineral oil can also be used as a cleaning agent, or "surfactant," that removes dust, dirt and soils, or as a stabilizer that helps maintain a product formula when exposed to air, light or heat, or as a defoaming agent that helps reduce the formation of foam to avoid defects on surface coating post-use.

Isopropyl myristate is a solubilizer that can also be found in cosmetic products. We use it in our products to help dissolve the ingredients of the product to help them mix together better.

Ethyl Lactate, also known as lactic acid ethyl ester, is a solvent that can also be found in degreasers. It works by solubilizing the materials to allow them to become part of the overall formulation. We use Ethyl Lactate in our products to help solubilize active ingredients.

Geraniol is an essential oil found in many plants. It is the primary component of rose oil, palmarosa oil, and citronella oil (Java type). It is often used as a fragrance or organic solvent ingredient in cosmetics. In our pesticide formulations we are using it as an active ingredient for its insect control attributes, fragrance and as a solvent.

Lemongrass oil is an active ingredient in our insecticide formulation. It contains citronellol and geraniol and has some repellency impact against a range of biting insects.
