ĀDAS ALERGĒNU IZPRAŠANA
Ādas alergēns (ko sauc arī par dermālo vai kontakta alergēnu) ir jebkura viela, ko imūnsistēma atpazīst kā draudus un kurai tā uzbrūk. Bet ir svarīgi paturēt prātā, ka ādas alergēna esamība produktā nenozīmē, ka tas automātiski personai izraisīs alerģisku jutību.
Ādas alerģijas var tikt izraisītas vai ierosinātas, ja cilvēks ir pakļauts alergēna iedarbībai ilgāku laiku un devā, kas pārsniedz noteiktu minimālo devu. To sauc par “alerģijas izraisīšanu.” Kad cilvēkam jau ir izveidojusies ādas alerģija pret konkrēto vielu, viņam var parādīties tāda reakcija kā apsārtums vai izsitumi. To sauc par “alerģijas izsaukšanu.” Tas, vai reakcija attīstīsies vai nē, ir lielā mērā atkarīgs no devas vai iedarbības apmēra. Uzņēmumā SC Johnson mēs rūpējamies, lai ādas alergēnus izmantotu tikai tik mazos daudzumos, lai būtu maz ticams, ka tie varētu izraisīt jaunu ādas alerģiju vai izsaukt alerģisku ādas reakciju. Tomēr cilvēkiem, kuriem jau ir ādas alerģija, var noderēt informācija par to, ka ir izmantota noteikta sastāvdaļa.
KĀPĒC ATKLĀT ĀDAS ALERGĒNUS?
Mēs turpinām meklēt veidus, kā palielināt mūsu produktu caurspīdīgumu. Kopš izlaidām šo tīmekļa vietni 2009. gadā, mēs esam pakāpeniski pievienojuši informāciju par krāsvielām (2009), konservantiem (2011) un aromatizētājvielām (2012). Mēs izdevām produktiem specifisku informāciju par 99,9% aromatizētājvielu lielākajai daļai produktu 2015. gadā un mūsu pirmajai gaisa atsvaidzinātāju kolekcijai, norādot 100% aromatizētājvielas, 2016. gadā.
Mēs vēlamies ģimenēm sniegt vēl vairāk informācijas par produktiem, ko viņi pārnes mājās, tādēļ dati, ko sniedzam par ādas alergēniem, pārsniedz Eiropas Savienības regulās noteikto un arī Amerikas Savienotajās Valstīs noteikto, kur nepastāv noteikumi, kas pieprasītu informēt par alergēniem.
PAR MŪSU SARAKSTU
Lai noteiktu, ko atklāt kā ādas alergēnus, mēs izstrādājām pamatīgu izvērtēšanas procesu, kurā piedalījās konsultantu grupa, kas ietvēra ekspertus dermatoloģijā, imunotoksikoloģijā, aromātu toksikoloģijā un alergēnos.

Mēs izanalizējām aptuveni 3 000 datu kopas no publiskajiem un rūpnieciskajiem avotiem par potenciālajiem ādas alergēniem, kas identificēti valsts regulatīvajos sarakstos, aromatizētājvielu nozares sarakstos, Eiropas patērētāju drošības zinātniskās komitejas ierakstos, dermatoloģijas klīniskajos datos un individuālu piegādātāju drošības datu lapās.
