Isobutylene-Maleic Anhydride Polymer Ammonium Salt is an alternative copolymer of isobutylene and maleic anhydride that can also be found in water soluble paints, and in ceramic powders. It works by thickening and stabilizing products that require alkaline water environments. In our formulas, we use this to thicken and bind our transparent gels.
